Privacy Policy

SpiritValers (“the site”, “we”) is a free, fan-made SpiritVale companion — a wiki, build simulator, guild planner, and a Discord bot named Savi. We are not affiliated with the makers of SpiritVale. This policy explains what information we handle and why. We keep it deliberately minimal.

The Discord bot (Savi)

Savi answers slash commands, such as game-data and build look-ups. When you run a command, Discord sends us the text you typed and the identifiers Discord attaches to the request (your Discord user ID and the server/channel ID). We use this only to build and return your answer at that moment.

• We do not store your Discord messages, user ID, or server information. Savi keeps no database of who used it — each request is answered and then discarded.
• Savi reads only publicly available data: the game data published on this site and community builds their authors marked public. It can never see a private build.

Accounts

Accounts are optional — you only need one to save builds to the cloud or claim a guild. We ask for a username and password only. We never collect or store an email address, real name, or any other contact information. Sign-in is handled by Supabase; your password is stored hashed by that service and is never visible to us.

Content you create

• Builds. When you save a build to the cloud, we store the build data and your username. You choose whether each build is public or private. Public builds — and their author’s username — are visible to anyone in the Build Library and through the Discord bot. Private builds are visible only to you.
• Guilds. The guild name, roster, member usernames, roles, and notes you enter in the Guild Planner are stored so they can be shared through the guild’s link and shown to its members.

Usage analytics and cookies

We keep simple aggregate counts — page views, likes, and a visitor tally. These are numbers only and are not tied to any individual.

The site also uses Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects standard usage data (such as your IP address, device, browser, and the pages you view) to help us understand traffic. That processing is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser settings or a tracker blocker.

Data stored in your browser

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your chosen language, keep you signed in, and cache your most recent build. This stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your data is handled only by the services that run the site: Supabase (accounts, builds, guild data), GitHub Pages (site hosting), Google (analytics), and Discord (the platform the bot runs on).

Keeping and deleting your data

Content stays up until you or we remove it. To delete your account, your builds, or your guild data, contact us (below) and we’ll remove it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or bot means you accept the current version.
